London Olympia International Horse Show is one of the most anticipated equestrian events of the year. Just one week before Christmas, the entire stadium is alive with excitement as visitors gather over the course of seven days to shop the best retailers in the UK and watch the most thrilling equestrian competitions and displays from around the world. It is also the only UK show to host all three FEI World CupTM Qualifiers in Dressage, Show Jumping and Driving.
There is indeed no better place than Olympia to shop with a shopping village of over 250 shops, selling a range of all things equestrian from clothing, artwork, horse wear and jewellery, there is truly something for everyone.
Out of those 250 shops, here is a shortlist of where you will find me shopping this year and who I think you should make a special trip to see…
LD Equestrian – Equestrian Clothing – Stand G268
Of course, if you are heading anywhere at Olympia this year it should be to our stand! This is our very first year exhibiting at Olympia and I am beyond excited.
I have been working tirelessly the past four months to ensure we bring to you the ultimate shopping experience on our stand, here is what we are bringing:

So, stop by, swoon over our products, learn more about our brand, treat yourself to some early Christmas presents, enter our competition and say hi! I cannot wait to meet you!
Mackenzie and George – Country Accessories
All year long, the Mackenzie and George stand has been overflowing with crowds desperate to get their hands on their beautiful products. The brand launched in 2012 with an aim to create luxury accessories at affordable prices, handmade in Britain. They have certainly achieved this aim; their felt hats and leather belts have been the staple accessories of the year! I cannot wait to see what new products they will be displaying at Olympia.
Dogs & Co – Dog Care Products
I first came across Dogs & Co at Badminton Horse Trials back in May this year and I have already been ordered by my mum to head back to their stand at Olympia with her full wish list. They have a fantastic product line ranging from beautiful collars, quirky toys and highly practical dog wear. I cannot wait to head over to their stand to check out more of their new products and to tell them how fantastic their slip dog leads are for our family spaniels!
Hiho Silver – Silver Jewellery
Hiho Silver has been the go-to rural jewellery brand for the country and equestrian community for almost 20 years now. Their signature purple boxes and twinkling jewellery attracts everybody to their exhibition stand. Be warned, very few leave without a cherry roller!
Rudds Wellies – Clothing & Shoes
Since, I was first greeted by a big smile and a comfortable fit I have falled in love with Rudds Wellies. Rachel Rudd is the brains behind the brand, let down with the quality and durability of wellies available she decided to re-design the wellie with a focus on a rural lifestyle. Designed with an emphasis on comfort, safety and durability, Rudds are fast becoming the only choice of wellies.
Fairfax and Favor – Shoes & Bags
Currently on track for world domination is none other than Fairfax and Favor. This brand has been seen everywhere and on everybody all year – no trot up or country show attendance was complete without a pair of their stunning tasselled Regina Long Boots or signature Windsor hang bag. Stop by their stand and swoon over your shoe rack addition.
Emily Cole Illustrations – Artwork
Just next door to us this year, the extremely talented Emily Cole will be displaying her artwork. Emily is famous throughout the equestrian world for her quirky illustrations highlighting all aspects of equestrianism, both amusing and touching. I am lucky to own one of her amazing commissions for myself and it is truly one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received.
Ecqlusive & Alan Davies – Grooming Products
After seeing pretty much everybody shouting about how fantastic the Ecqlusive Grooming Sets were online, last year I decided purchased my very own set. From receiving my new brushes, I have not yet been disappointed. A year later, they are in such good quality still and I would be lost without them. I cannot wait to head back to their stand this year to get the missing pieces to my collection. Seriously, these are my ultimate must have! You need these under the Christmas tree.
World Horse Welfare – Equestrian Charity
Head over to the World Horse Welfare stand to learn more about how they are improving the lives of horses around the world and how you can help. With education and hands-on-care, WHW has stopped millions of horses suffering any cruelty over the past 90 Years.
After, you have had a fantastic day shopping and watching the fantastic displays, stop by their stand. If you can’t give a donation or even a home for a horse on their adoption scheme, you can give just a little bit of your time to listen to their cause.
