‘Be brave, do something courageous, the repayment you get will far outweigh the terror, I promise you’.
I am thrilled to be sharing with you my review of Victoria Brant’s (AKA The Wimpy Eventer) first book!
Before I dive in, will you do something from me? Go ahead and order yourself a copy of ‘How to Get Your Leg Over’ right now. Believe me, you need this book in your life.
I am sure there aren’t many of you but if you are one of the people that hasn’t heard of Vic by now let me tell you a little about this amazing lady.
Vic is an amateur eventer who blogs her story to a following of over 26,000 people. She is also now a successful author of not one but two books that detail her trials and tribulations. She even has a line of merchandise and several sponsorships!

In her first book, Vic shares the ups and downs of her horsey encounters, in a relatable and honest account. It is truly such a breath of fresh air in this industry, this book is everything I want to see more of, personality, positivity and less ‘Chip Pissing’.
Overall, I rate this book a 4.5/5. This book entered my life at a time when I needed to be uplifted. Reading this made me laugh out loud. I found it a very relatable and a very humorous read. I now feel like Victoria is a supportive friend and thanks to her, I will not let anybody piss on my chips ever again. Adding her second book to my amazon wish list right now!!
